What is The Main Thing?

What is the purpose of this blog? The purpose is to keep the main thing the main thing. What is the main thing? The main thing is Jesus Christ and his gospel. This blog will have gospel-centered teaching, book reviews whether it is Christian or not, videos that will have teachings from God honoring prechers, and maybe a post with a little fun.

Why do we want to keep Jesus and the gospel, the main thing? Paul told the Corinthian church, "For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, ESV). If the gospel is important to Paul that he declared of first importance, then the gospel must be of first importance for all Christians to proclaim and to know.
