I recently celebrated my birthday and a thought came to me, "What would a gospel-centered birthday look like?" Here are some ways you can make your birthday gospel-centered:
1. Remember as you turn one year older, the Lord has your days numbered and thank Him for allowing you to live another year.
2. Make it all about Jesus even when your birthday is about you.
3. Think about how old you were when you trusted Christ and thank God that He drew you to himself.
4. As you get gifts, whether it is a book (pastors love books) or another tie to go with your collection, thank God for the gift of eternal life through Jesus
5. As you turn a year older, remember that you are closer to seeing Jesus face-to-face whether you leave to the body or see Him as He returns
