Why Men Hate Going To Church by David Murrow

Where are the men? Why are more women attending church than men? Is going to church the manly thing to? These are some of the questions church leaders often think about when it comes to the attendance of men in their churches. Thankfully, this book, Why Men Hate Going To Church, addresses the issues that men have with the church and what keeps them from attending.

There are men who say they are Christian, but do not attend church anywhere. This book talks about how we got to where we are as far as why there are more women than men in church. The book even talks about why men do not want to attend church or even be a member of a church. As I read some of their reasons they want no part of a church, I began to think that even women make some of these excuses as well. The biggest one is, "The church is full of hypocrites." Sound familiar?

This is not a new book. This was released in 2005 and now has been updated with new information to equip church leaders in knowing about men's hatred of the church. There is a lot of information that David Murrow has put in his book, but has kept it very concise where the reader is not overloading their brains while reading this.
Every church leader needs to read this book and discuss it among themselves. They also need to pray and seek the Lord on how we can reach out to men.

Thanks Booksneeze for letting me review this book.
