To become a Christian is to submit oneself to the rule of Christ-in every area of one's life. Christians have moved from one kingdom to another. It's not one's body that has moved, like moving from one country to another. It's one's heart and allegiances. Whether Christians eat or drink, command armies to build vineyards and parks, or share the gospel, they are to do it by faith for the glory of God.
With such submission comes authority or authorization. When we submit to Christ, he authorizes us to go and do likewise. He commissions us to exercise the loving authority of calling others into his kingdom
