I have heard it said from many pastors, especially in the Baptist church, be saved you need to "accept Jesus into your heart" or "invite Christ into your life." A.W. Tozer once said that the words, "accept Christ" are not in the Bible. Russell Moore tweeted, "Don't invite Christ into your life. Your life is a wreck. Jesus is inviting your into His life".
