When New Employees Come To Your Workplace

Do you love your job? If it pays well and it is something you enjoy, I am sure you do. Do you love the people you work with? If they are easy to get along with that you agree to disagree, I am sure you do. One of the signs of a great job is you really like the people you work with. However, there will be seasons when people you work with resign because they take a better paying job or moving to another city. After a few weeks your boss hires new people.

Do you like meeting new people? I hope you do. In worship services, we should always greet new people that come to our service. What about the work place? What about those new people you are getting to know as you perform your job? What are Christians suppose to do when new people come to their workplace. Here are a couple of things that a Christian needs to do:

1. Get to know them. Your job function and theirs may make it hard to have a long conversation so get a chance to introduce yourself and find out who they are. It is also an opportunity to find out if they are a Christian or not.

2. Pray. First pray for that person as you get to them. Second, pray that God will open the door to share the gospel with them. Third, pray that you will have boldness and be a faithful witness for Christ.

New employees coming in is a part of life and as Christians we need to be ready to share the gospel with those new people. If they are already a Christian, rejoice that you have a brother in Christ at the workplace.
