Be Missional on Halloween

This week is Halloween. At day where kids (even some adults) can dress like whoever they want. They get to go from house to house in their neighborhood getting candy unless they go that house hands out apples and toothbrushes. When I was a kid, Halloween was a fun day because I get to wear a costume and get a lot of 3 Musketeers.

Many Christians will not celebrate this day because it celebrates the day or it worships Satan. I would encourage Christians not to pull away from this day especially when kids go out Trick or Treating. I would encourage to be a mission for Jesus in your neighborhood. The Verge Network recently gave 12 ways on how Christians can be missional on Halloween:

1. Give out the best Candy

2. Think of the Parents

3. Be Present

4. Be Encouraging

5. Party

6. Learn the Stories

7. Attend the Party

8. Join the Community

9. Head to the “Watering Holes”

10. Pay Attention

11. Stay Dependent

12. Open Doors
