Book Review: Jesus or Nothing by Dan DeWitt

If you have noticed there have been a lot of studies that young adults are leaving the Christian faith. Some say it is out of date and not in touch with reality. Other would say we are uneducated idiots. Many people who claim they are Christians will turn from the faith and join another religion because it suits their desires.

There are many skeptics of the Christian faith with arguments such as Adam and Eve were not literal people and the Bible is man made. How do we help the skeptics and those leaving the faith? How can we be sure what we are following is true? Dan DeWitt, in his book, Jesus or Nothing, talks about knowing the gospel story and what the alternative worldviews are teaching. DeWitt addresses Nihilism and New Atheism along with other worldviews. DeWitt writes as if he was writing to those who have questions about the Christian faith or someone who is a brand new Christian.

The concept is Jesus or nothing meaning that what can be true is Jesus was who He said He was and what the Bible claimed Him to be or this Christianity is a waste of time. This book is great for a mature believer to sit with a new Christian or even one outside the faith who has questions. This is good for small group discussions as well.

Thanks Crossway for letting me review this book.
