A couple of years ago, I attended an apologetics conference where the speakers were nationally known and have sold many best selling books on evidence for the faith. While these guys knew their stuff, I left the conference not as equipped as I think a Christian should be.
Some of the men talked about what appropriate words you should use and what method you need to use. Perhaps one of the biggest disappointments was the lack of use of the Bible. I think the Bible was used maybe in one or two of the general sessions.
Thankfully, there are some resources that have been produced for Christians to use the Bible in defending the faith whether it is to someone in another religion, someone who has questions about Christianity, or someone who does not believe in God altogether. Westminster Bookstore has several resources on sale for you to use or give to someone who has questions about the faith.
