Scripture is under attack from those outside the church and those inside the church. Many think the Bible is another ancient document like the Qu'ran and the Book of Mormon. Some preachers do not even use the Bible when preaching because that is not how to grow people.
Some even think the Bible is full of advice, not commands, in other words, there is no authority from the Bible. In this video, Albert Mohler preaches on the authority of Scripture:
