My Reading Plan for 2019

Happy New Year!!! I hope you had a great year in 2018 and will even have a good 2019. I am sure you have thought about what reading plan you may want to do in 2019 or you are still up in the air. I know for me, I did not make my decision till last week as far as what Bible reading plan I wanted to do.

So, I decided to do something I have never done before, a Chronological reading to the Bible. The Bible is God's written word to His people. It is not a history book like modern history books so the sequence of events may be out of order, so this reading plan will help the reader know when the events of the Bible take place.

Here is a PDF of the reading plan that you can download or print. If you are still needing a Bible reading plan for the new year, here is a list from Ligonier.

Last year, I had a joyous time to read Martin Luther's daily devotional Faith Alone and shared some excepts of it here on the blog. That will continue again this year, but with Morning and Evening by Charles Spurgeon.

Finally, if you follow me on Goodreads, you know I had surpassed my challenge of reading 90 books for 2018. In fact, I just completed my 100th book for the year, which is a record for me. I am not sure if I will do that many this year, but I will strive to continue reading for the glory of God and my own edification.

What are your reading plans for 2019? If you wish to share, please a comment.
