Every new year, people make a resolution. Some of them are about the same: lose weight (especially after consuming that 24 inch chocolate Santa Claus), stop a bad habit (normally its smoking, but burping the word "milk" in front of your wife is a bad habit to stop) or start something new. For Christians, their New Year's Resolution can be reading the Bible more, pray hard, witness to their friends, or attend church more often.
People will compare their New Year's resolution to last year's and see what they were hoping to accomplish and how they can learn from their failure (or they will just simply brush it off like nothing happened). So, are you making a New Year's resolution? If you are, I would like to invite you to read a couple of posts that give some sound advice on the whole resolution ordeal we seem to go through every year:
The Tyranny of Advice Column Christianity by Matt Johnson
Resolution, Repentance, and Revolution by Joe Thorn
