Book Review: Journeys of Faith
There are many books that talk about the differences between the religions of the world as well as the different theological beliefs in Christianity. Usually those books are written by one author. Journeys of Faith is not one of those books.
This book contains 4 authors journey to the different theological beliefs in Christianity. How they got there and what they believe. The four beliefs are Eastern Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Evangelicalism, and Anglicanism. After the 4 authors talk about their journeys, an additional 4 authors respond to those beliefs that they disagree with but they do it with gentleness and respect. Following those responses, the previous 4 authors return as a response those other 4 authors with gentleness and respect as well.
This was a very engaging and unique book as it deals with each author's journey to difference beliefs in Christianity with some critical responses that did not sound like a heated debate. I recommend this book for every pastor as we deals these different beliefs in Christianity.
Thanks Zondervan for letting me review this book.
