Bryan Chapell on Quiet Time as a Means of Grace

In my early days of walking with Jesus, I did not a have a quiet time. Thankfully, my brother introduced me to it where I began to read the Bible for myself. Unfortunately, I developed the idea that if I missed a day, God was going to strike me dead. I turned what was a means of grace into a religious rule.

Even though, I have grown from that state of mind, there are Christians that have not. In this video, Bryan Chapell reminds us that quiet times and other Christian disciplines do not produce grace, but help us enjoy the grace that has been given to us.
