Prayer is both a spiritual privilege and duty of the Christian. It is the breathing-out of the soul its praise to God and its requests for the things perceived as necessary for one’s own life or the life of others. Prayer is a great privilege. The believer in Christ has God as his audience during prayer. Prayer is a means through which God beings needed things to souls. Prayer is a means of grace.
