The Grace of God by Andy Stanley

The gospel of Jesus Christ is all about how God gives grace to sinners. Many people have written about the grace of God. Some do a great job. Others do not even get the task accomplished with very little scripture. That is where Andy Stanley's The Grace of God falls into.

Andy Stanley uses his smooth talk to communicate the grace of God to his readers while using stories from the Bible. Andy seems to always present the Bible in a way that is easy for the reader to understand, but in this case, with a theological topic like the grace of God, there was no theological clarity on the grace of God is from the Bible.

The only thing this book offers is on how not to communicate the grace of God and another sad story of how a pastor has to use "seeker sensitive" words to communicate Biblical truth. I cannot recommend this book to anyone who wants to dive into this grace that God gives us.

Thanks to Booksneeze for allowing me to review this book.
